Daniel Feder, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Managing Director of Investments at the University of Michigan since September 2017. In addition, Daniel is an Independent Advisory Board Member for both Fitzrovia and Knightsbridge Advisers LLC. Prior roles include Managing Director for Washington University Investment Management Company from 2013 to 2017, Managing Director of Endowment Management at TIAA from 2010 to 2013, and Managing Director & Advisor for the Heritage Fund at Sequoia Capital from 2008 to 2010. Daniel also held the position of Managing Director at Princeton University Investment Company from 2000 to 2008, and had a lengthy tenure at Cigna Investment Management as Vice President and Counsel. Daniel began a legal career as an Attorney at Hebb & Gitlin from 1987 to 1990. Academically, Daniel holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MA in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford, and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
