Drew Smith

Drew Smith possesses extensive experience in financial management and public service, currently serving as Treasurer & Assistant Vice President at the University of Michigan since August 2021. Prior roles include Treasurer & Deputy CFO for the City of Boston from November 2017 to July 2021, and Deputy Assistant Treasurer for Debt Management at the Massachusetts State Treasury, along with positions at the Mass Clean Water Trust. Drew's earlier experience includes serving as a Financial Advisor at Delta Trust Investments and as Policy Director at the Arkansas Treasury. Educationally, Drew is pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, with a prior Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Arkansas.
