Nick Kaleba

Nick Kaleba is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and marketing, currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing for the University of Michigan's Division of Student Life since October 2013. Previously, Nick held the position of Associate Director of HR Communications, leading a team responsible for messaging to over 70,000 faculty and staff. Prior to working at the University of Michigan, Nick served as Director of Communications for the Chicago Federation of Labor, where strategic communications were developed for a central labor council. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Assistant to the Attorney General for Illinois, focusing on statewide public affairs strategies, and Deputy Press Secretary for Citizens for Lisa Madigan during an electoral campaign. Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Albion College.
