Michał Tulodziecki, PhD, is currently the Head of Battery Competence at Umicore, where responsibilities include senior project management and leading battery research initiatives since August 2018. Prior to that, Michał served as an Expert in Materials Science and Electrochemistry at TMC and as a Research Scientist at TNO in 2017. From July 2015 to July 2017, Michał was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specializing in redox flow batteries, catalysis, and metal-air batteries. Earlier experience includes a Research Engineer role at CNRS, focusing on cathode materials for high-loading lithium-sulfur batteries and in-situ characterization techniques. Michał holds a PhD in Electrochemistry from Université de Picardie Jules Verne and multiple master's degrees in materials for energy storage and chemistry from esteemed institutions.
