Alex Ryan serves as the Chief Content Officer at Initiative since March 2019, focusing on advancing branded entertainment and promoting growth through innovative strategies. Prior to this role, Alex held multiple positions at UM Worldwide from July 2015, including Head of Strategy for the East Coast and the US, contributing to client communications strategy, product development, and media partnerships. Earlier experience includes serving as VP, Partner, Strategy at Maxus and Communications Planning Director at MediaCom, as well as various strategic roles at MediaCom Australia. Alex holds a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Western Sydney University, attained between 2005 and 2008.
