Ambretta Perrino is an experienced professional in information systems and project management, currently serving as the Nexus Product Owner at UN Climate Change since January 2023, leading the implementation of the Paris Agreement’s Enhanced Transparency Framework. Since November 2016, Ambretta has held the position of Information Systems Project Officer in the ICT division of UNFCCC, managing various software development projects. Prior to this, Ambretta worked at IBM for 15 years in various roles including IT Consultant, Certified IT Specialist, and Technical Leader, specializing in Business Intelligence and system management software. Ambretta began their career in technology as a Software Engineer at IBM after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, complemented by research experience in gamma-ray detector projects. Additionally, Ambretta has contributed as a volunteer in the IT team for Emergency Onlus since 2007.
