Laura Vinuela has extensive experience in climate change communication and regional collaboration, currently serving as a Programme Officer in the Communications and Engagement Division at UNFCCC since 2008. Laura's work focuses on Action for Climate Empowerment and youth engagement in climate change education and public awareness. In previous roles at UNFCCC, Laura has managed Regional Collaboration Centers and Regional Climate Weeks, and has led initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to UNFCCC, Laura worked as a CDM Project Developer at Asja Ambiente Italia SpA, developing green projects and managing carbon credits trading, and served as a CDM advisor at Banco Macro. Education includes an EMBA from IAE Business School and a degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
