Manal Bidar

Manal Bidar currently serves as the Communication Coordinator at Water Youth Network and as a Communications Officer for Generation Climate Europe, playing a key role in advocacy efforts within EU institutions. Manal has led initiatives that resulted in substantial social media engagement and has organized youth climate dialogues with various stakeholders. Additionally, Manal is recognized as a UNCCD Land Hero for empowering young Moroccans on sustainable land policies and has held multiple positions across renowned organizations, including UN Women and UN Climate Change, focusing on gender inclusion in climate action. With a robust academic background from Duke University and exchange programs in sustainable development and public policy, Manal has consistently advocated for youth and gender considerations in climate issues at international forums.
