Anacláudia Rossbach is an experienced professional in housing and urban policies, currently serving as the Executive Director of UN-Habitat since August 2024. Previously, Anacláudia held the position of Director for Latin America and Caribbean at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy from August 2022 to July 2024. Prior consulting roles included expert advisory work focused on housing and urban equality for organizations in the Global South, as well as consulting for the Inter-American Development Bank. Anacláudia served as Regional Manager and Advisor for Latin America at Cities Alliance from March 2014 to February 2022, and as a Senior Housing Specialist at the World Bank from October 2010 to December 2013, providing advisory services to multiple governmental organizations. Co-founder and chairperson of Rede INTERAÇÃO, Anacláudia has engaged in community mobilization efforts for secure housing tenure. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Political Economy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and further studies at The Wharton School.
