Eleni Myrivili

UN Chief Heat Officer at UN-Habitat

Eleni (Lenio) Myrivili serves as the UN Chief Heat Officer at UN-Habitat and is an Advisory Board Member for the Global Risk Report at the World Economic Forum. Myrivili holds the position of Senior Advisor at the Arsht Rock Resilience Center, is a board member of the EUMission Adaptation Board with the European Commission, and a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. As a Senior Advisor and Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Athens, Myrivili has developed the Athens Resilience Strategy for 2030 and fostered international partnerships aligned with global frameworks. Additional roles include Deputy Mayor for Urban Nature, Resilience & Climate Change Adaptation and academic positions as an Associate Professor at the University of the Aegean and as a former Loeb Fellow at Harvard University. Myrivili's educational background includes a PhD in Anthropology from Columbia University and an MA in Performance Studies from New York University.
