Avipsha Rayamajhi is currently serving as a Research and Capacity Building Consultant at UN Women, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Avipsha Rayamajhi was an intern focusing on Gender Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Linkages with UN Women, where significant contributions included analyzing gender mainstreaming in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) for COP28 and supporting important regional climate events through logistical preparation and communication strategies. Previous experience also includes a role as a Student Research Assistant at the Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific, and as the Knowledge Management and Communications Officer at the Southasia Institute of Advanced Studies (SIAS). Avipsha Rayamajhi began a career with CREASION, progressing from Program Development and Communications Intern to Associate. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Society and Environmental Governance from the Asian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Kathmandu University.
