Rachael Maina is an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Unaitas since November 2014, responsible for reviewing loan proposals above branch limits and providing critical insights to the Head Office Credit & Control Committee. Prior to this role, Rachael was a Credit Risk Analyst at Equity Bank Limited from October 2007 to October 2014, where responsibilities included evaluating loan applications in the SME and Micro lending sectors and serving as a second opinion for the Head Office Credit Committee. Rachael's career at Equity Bank also encompassed roles as a Credit Project Officer and Credit Relationship Officer, contributing to credit automation projects and developing outreach plans. Rachael holds a Master of Science in Commerce with a specialization in Finance and Economics from KCA University, alongside a CPA VI finalist certification from KASNEB and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Nairobi.
