Paulo Dimas

Paulo Dimas is an accomplished professional in the technology and AI sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Responsible AI since April 2023. Paulo has been instrumental at Unbabel since September 2015, first as the Head of Product and currently as the VP of Product Innovation, where Paulo leads a multidisciplinary team focused on product strategy and the integration of advanced AI technologies in translation. Additionally, Paulo co-founded Beyond NewsGen, managing content management projects for the media industry, and previously held positions as a Board Member at Iduka, Co-founder and CEO of Wizi, and User Experience Designer at Ubiquity.org. Early career experiences include roles as Development Director at Tribal DDB Lisboa, CTO at Neurónio, and Director of Product at SoftAidia. Paulo holds a degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, where education was completed in 1993.
