Shahid Memon is a British entrepreneur and the current CTO of Unbox Robotics. Memon has a background in machine learning and algorithms, and has applied this knowledge to various startups throughout their career. Memon founded Vanora Robots in 2015 with the goal of developing hunch, a patent-pending technology that allows robots to better identify and avoid obstacles. Memon led the company as Technical Director for four years before joining Entrepreneur First in 2019. At Entrepreneur First, Memon served as Founder In Residence, helping to ideate and develop new startups. In July of 2019, Memon joined Unbox Robotics as CTO.
Shahid Memon has a Master of Science in Autonomous Robotics Engineering from the University of York, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gujarat Technological University, A-levels in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Language from Krishna International Science School, and GCSEs (O-levels) in Computer Science, Science, Social Science, Geography, Mathematics, Arts, and Languages from Saint Xavier's School in Bhuj.
