Bojan Cukic

Bojan Cukic currently serves as the Dean at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) since December 2022, where the focus is on transforming lives through comprehensive computing education and research. Additionally, Bojan holds positions on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) and as an Executive Committee Member for the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance. Prior roles include Associate Dean at UNC Charlotte's College of Computing and Informatics, Interim Executive Director of the Data Science Initiative, Professor and Chair at UNC Charlotte, Co-founder of NexID Biometrics LLC, Director of the Center for Identification Technology Research, and R.C. Byrd Professor at West Virginia University. Bojan's early career included leading research at NASA IV&V. Bojan earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Dipl. Ing. in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana.
