David Fillmore

David Fillmore is a seasoned professional in the field of lighting design, holding the position of Professor of Lighting Design at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since August 2004, where progression included roles as Associate and Assistant Professor. In addition to academic responsibilities, David Fillmore is an active lighting designer with United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, IATSE since 2009, and contributes to the Children's Theatre of Charlotte as a freelance lighting designer since August 2006. David Fillmore obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting and Scenic Design from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
