Eric H. Tornfelt

Eric H. Tornfelt, Ed.D., serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, providing supervision and guidance for student teachers since January 2024. With extensive experience in educational leadership, Tornfelt has held multiple roles as Assistant Principal at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since September 2007, focusing on curriculum alignment, personnel management, and enhancing student experiences, particularly within the International Baccalaureate framework. Earlier in career as a Social Studies Teacher, Tornfelt earned recognition as Teacher of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year. Tornfelt holds a Doctorate in Education from Wingate University, along with additional qualifications in school administration and teaching.
