Gary Ritter

Gary Ritter serves as the Director of Academic Technologies for the College of Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since March 2025. Prior to this role, Gary held multiple leadership positions at Central Piedmont Community College from August 2004 to March 2025, including Executive Director of Digital Transformation and Business Relationship Management, where responsibilities encompassed leading a team of over 40 in areas such as Service Management and Digital Transformation. Gary has notable achievements in establishing technology advisory groups, implementing the M365 Platform, and managing the transition to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
