Sophia Marshall

Sophia Marshall has extensive experience in the field of wellness and recreation management, currently serving as the Director of the Center for Wellness Promotion at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since June 2006. In previous roles, Marshall has held positions including Interim Director of both the Center for Wellness Promotion and Recreational Services, as well as Senior Fitness and Wellness Director at the Morrison Family YMCA. Marshall's responsibilities encompass overseeing programming, human resources, and budget management, while supervising significant teams of staff and student employees. Educationally, Marshall holds a Master of Education in Sports and Recreation Management from Hardin-Simmons University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University.
