Srinivas Akella

Srinivas Akella is a seasoned academic currently serving as a Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte since 2009. Prior to this position, Srinivas held the role of Assistant Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2008 and was a Beckman Fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1997 to 1999. Srinivas earned a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University between 1989 and 1996 and received a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 1985 to 1989.
