Dan Dodson

Dan Dodson, MBA, MSMI, currently serves as the System Director of Digital Health and Innovation at UNC Health, where leadership in digital health and patient engagement initiatives aims to enhance clinical care, patient experiences, and provider efficiencies. With a robust background in digital transformation, Dodson has developed various digital products and services, including telehealth and mobile applications. Prior to this role, Dodson co-founded Qual-Smart, a market research firm, and held significant positions at Acta Wireless, TV Guide, Vircomm Partner, Virgin Mobile USA, and Sprint PCS, accumulating extensive experience in product development, marketing strategies, and healthcare technology. Educational qualifications include an M.S. in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University, an MBA in Marketing/Strategy from The University of Kansas, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University.
