Head of US Sales

A fully remote role based in the Eastern time zone of the United States

Role Overview

At Uncapped, we help ambitious founders realise their dreams. We have perfected our model in Europe and are assertively expanding into the United States. We have a plan to win the market, and the only missing piece is an experienced, structured, and motivated Head of US Sales to drive customer and revenue growth. You will be one of our first US employees, entrusted with direct selling, hiring and building an unbeatable sales team, and perfecting the most effective, profitable ways to delight our US customers.

Ideally, you are a “sales inventor” who is curious, passionate about helping Founders and business owners, and skilled in the fundamentals of tailoring a winning model to the US market. In doing so, you will establish an operational foundation on which to effectively process leads, onboard and train new Account Executives, and close deals with business owners in the United States.

Uncapped provides business advances of between $10k and $5m without credit checks, personal guarantees, warrants, equity, or compounding interest -- and makes money by charging a low flat fee that is paid back from future sales revenue.

Uncapped has raised $120 million from investors including Lakestar, Mouro Capital, Global Founders Capital, White Star Capital, Seedcamp, and All Iron Ventures.

What you will do ✍️

We need a passionate and focused sales expert to establish our revenue presence in the US market, and achieve sales targets and outcomes. Success will be measured by new revenue and customer acquisition, and the effectiveness with which we establish our presence in this key market.

You’ll be one of our first hires in the US, and we’re looking for someone eager to set the pace and make a meaningful contribution to our efforts to dominate the market in progressive lending and next-generation banking for digital companies.

Adapt our current sales processes and materials for the US market Work the full sales cycle: follow-up on qualified leads; outline Uncapped’s benefits and value; and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements Develop and nurture an investment pipeline, providing accurate flow predictions and leveraging our CRM system effectively Spot new opportunities and identify ways to introduce our network of partners to support our portfolio of customers and Founders Monitor the competitive landscape for new products and market conditions to understand the needs in the ecosystem Become a subject matter expert on the investment options our customer faces, and how these compare with Uncapped Contribute to the ongoing development of sales-related systems, processes, and business practices by sharing recommendations to improve efficiency and capacity Lead by example to create an inspiring team environment where ideas are shared and openness is valued as we deliver positive impact to customers Requirements Who you are 👀

You are a “sales inventor” who wants to help us establish and improve our revenue model and activity in the United States, and have solid experience closing value-based selling, managing a sales process and building a high-performing team around you.

Solid experience selling B2B solutions in high-growth technology ecosystems, specifically to customers with e-commerce and SaaS business models. Experience with SMB lending, revenue-based financing, and/or digital banking would be a plus. Background of working with senior decision-makers, and the knowledge and skills to build deep relationships with Founders and business owners A personal style that values curiosity and learning, and a communication style that is “more receive, less transmit” Ability to provide insights and recommendations for tailoring our model and offering to US customers High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and cross-functional influence internally and externally Benefits What we offer 🎁
