Terry Bishop has extensive work experience in the financial industry, specifically in the credit union and banking sectors. Terry currently holds the position of SVP & Chief Financial Officer at UNCLE Credit Union since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as VP & Chief Financial Officer at UNCLE Credit Union from August 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining UNCLE Credit Union, Terry worked as the VP of Finance & Compliance at SafeAmerica Credit Union from July 2020 to August 2021. Terry also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Vibrant Credit Union from February 2018 to March 2020, where they managed various aspects of finance and strategic planning, leading to a 25% increase in net interest income.

Terry also has experience in senior financial leadership roles at Arizona Federal Credit Union, where they served as SVP & Chief Financial Officer from September 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, they were EVP & CFO at Justice Federal Credit Union from March 2015 to September 2016, overseeing multiple areas such as accounting, treasury, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Earlier in their career, Terry served as SVP & CFO at Mechanics Savings Bank from July 2009 to March 2015, where they led financial management and introduced a profit/cost center accounting system. Terry also held the position of VP & Controller at Skowhegan Savings Bank from March 2003 to October 2008.

In addition to their work in the financial industry, Terry has previous experience as a Sergeant in the US Army, where they managed a fleet of trucks during deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

Prior to their banking career, Terry worked as a Staff Accountant at BerryDunn - Accounting and Consulting from October 1997 to January 2000.

Overall, Terry Bishop has demonstrated expertise in financial management, accounting, regulatory compliance, and risk management throughout their career in the credit union and banking sectors.

Terry Bishop obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maine at Machias. Additionally, Terry obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Maine in August 2001. Later, in August 2022, Terry obtained the certification as a Certified Chief Executive from CUES.
