Shana Pyatt-Buckner

Shana Pyatt-Buckner is the Founder and CEO of See Different Consulting since September 2022 and has served as the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Uncommon Schools since July 1997, where previous roles included High School Principal and Science Department Chair. Shana has also been an Adjunct Professor of Practice for Science at Relay Graduate School of Education from August 2011 to July 2022 and has experience as a High School English Teacher at Yonkers Public Schools and Greenburgh Central School District. Shana holds multiple degrees, including an ABD in Health Services from the University of Lancaster/College of St. Martins, a Master of Science in Science Teacher Education from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master of Science in Multicultural Education from Iona University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and secondary education from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
