Carlos Razo is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in international trade and economic policy. Currently serving as the Senior Coordinator for the Technical Team of the UN Global Crisis Response Group at UNCTAD since March 2018, Carlos has held several significant positions within the organization, including Chief of the Office of the Director in the Division on International Trade and Commodities. Prior roles include Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary-General and Economist in various capacities at UNCTAD and ECLAC. Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stockholm University, an MSc from the University of Essex, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from CETYS Universidad.
