Martine Julsaint Kidane has extensive experience in economic affairs, currently serving as an Economic Affairs Officer in the ICT Policy Section and in Trade Negotiations and Commercial Diplomacy at UNCTAD since November 2004. Prior to this role, Martine worked as a Project Officer at the South Centre from 2000 to 2003. Martine's educational background includes a DAS in Project Management from the University of Geneva (2016-2017), a Master's degree in International Trade Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern (2003-2004), a Master's degree in International Relations with a specialization in Political Science from the Geneva Graduate Institute (1998-2000), and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Geneva (1993-1998).
