Donyell Phillips Roseboro

Donyell Phillips Roseboro is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since August 2007 in various capacities, including Professor, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and Associate Dean. Prior roles include department leadership and professorship, as well as experience as an Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from August 2005 to June 2007. Donyell's early career included teaching social studies at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools from July 1999 to June 2002. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Philosophy in Curriculum & Teaching/Cultural Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Arts in American History from Wake Forest University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
