Steven Tjong

Steven Tjong has a diverse work experience in various roles, starting as a Teaching Assistant for Master students at Technische Universitat Darmstadt in 2016. Steven then worked as an intern for Embedded Software Development for Commercial Vehicles at Continental in 2016-17 and as a student for Quality Assurance in Powertrain Division at Vitesco Technologies in 2017-18. In 2018, they became a Student Research Assistant for Automation and Controlling at Technische Universitat Darmstadt and then a Working Student for Optimization and Simulation for Autonomous Driving in ADAS at Continental. In 2020, they joined Apple as an Artificial Intelligence Master Student in Computer Vision and Artspedia as a Data Scientist. Steven'smost recent work experience is at LIFEBONUS Gesundheitsmanagement GmbH, where they work as a Data Scientist for Computer Vision since 2021 and at understand.ai, where they work as a Data Engineer since 2023.

Steven Tjong received their Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from the Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Steven subsequently earned their Master's degree in the same field from the same university between 2018 and 2020. In addition, Steven also obtained certifications in "Deep Learning A-Z: Hands-On Artificial Neural Networks" and "Complete Python Bootcamp: Go from zero to hero in Python 3" from Udemy during March 2019 and May 2018, respectively.
