Alieu Bangura

Alieu Bangura is currently serving as a Programme Associate at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) since September 2023, where responsibilities include supporting the formulation of programme strategies and managing the Country Programme Action Plan. Previously, Alieu held the position of Deputy Head of the IT Department at the Gambia Public Procurement Authority from December 2020 to September 2023, focusing on the launch of an Electronic Government Procurement system and routine IT tasks. Prior experiences include roles as a Local Migration Expert at Seefar Enterprise, a Quality Assurance Engineer at alaTest Reviews, and IT Support at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. Alieu is an alumnus of the University of the Gambia, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and has attained certifications including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and CompTIA A+.
