Artak Robert Melkonyan

Artak Robert Melkonyan is a highly experienced professional in impact finance and sustainable development, currently serving as Senior Advisor on Equity Financing and Funds at UNDP since February 2015, where responsibilities include leading initiatives for equity financing in support of Sustainable Development Goals. Melkonyan has held various leadership roles at UNDP, including Global Lead for Impact Venture Accelerators and COO for SDG Innovative Finance, focusing on innovative finance strategies. Previous positions include CEO at IDeA Foundation, Senior VP at Dun & Bradstreet, and Dean of Business and Economics at Université française en Arménie. Melkonyan also has extensive academic experience, teaching at institutions such as Thammasat University and the American University of Armenia. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the American University of Armenia and a Master's in Engineering Management from the State Engineering University of Armenia, along with executive training from INSEAD and Georgetown University.
