Kumar Sudhir

Kumar Sudhir is a seasoned professional in risk management and disaster recovery, currently serving as a Risk Management Specialist at UNDP since January 2023. Previous roles include Consultant for the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster and multiple consultancy positions with organizations such as The World Bank, UNHCR, and the World Food Programme, focusing on disaster resilience, emergency preparedness, and technical assistance in various regional crises. Kumar has contributed significantly to projects in Asia and Africa, including developing national guidelines for disaster recovery in Lao PDR and coordinating emergency responses for the Rohingya refugee crisis. Kumar holds a Master's degree in Rural Development from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand.
