Gabriela Ramos

Gabriela Ramos is currently serving as the Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO since July 2020. Prior to this role, Gabriela held various positions at the OECD - OCDE, including Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G20, where responsibilities encompassed program management, collaboration with the Secretary General's office, and outreach to member countries. Gabriela's earlier roles at OECD included Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of the OECD Office in Mexico. Since beginning a public policy career as a partner at Portico Public Policy consultancy and later as Director of Economic Analysis at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico, Gabriela has cultivated extensive experience in economic analysis and international relations. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
