Leanne Davey

Leanne Davey is an experienced education researcher currently working with UNESCO on the SDG4 Leadership Team as an Education Researcher focusing on Debt Sustainability and Education since February 2025. In addition to this role, Leanne serves as a Literacy and Education Coordinator and Board Member at Impactful Education. Previous positions at UNESCO included Associate Project Officer, Consultant, and Research Assistant from December 2020 to November 2024. Leanne has also gained teaching experience as an English as a Second Language Teacher while self-employed in the freelance sector and as an English Instructor at Babylangues in France. Other roles include Nursery Nurse at The Old Forge Day Nursery, Hourly Care Worker at Helping Hands Homecare, Outreach Support Worker at AFFINITY TRUST, and Parent Group Leader at Family Links. Leanne's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Global Development and Education from the University of Leeds and a BA (Hons) in Social Work from The University of Hull.
