Mohamed Mbengue

Mohamed Mbengue is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and administrative support, currently serving as a Finance Administrative Officer at UNESCO since January 2017. In this role, Mohamed oversees various functions, including human resources, logistics, finances, and compliance with UN/UNESCO regulations. Prior to joining UNESCO, Mohamed held multiple positions at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, including Finance Delegate and Regional Finance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed budget consolidation, financial reporting, and providing financial guidance for emergency operations. Mohamed holds a Master's degree in Finance from Cheik Anta DIOP University in Dakar, obtained between 2001 and 2006.
