Claudia Cappa

Claudia Cappa is an experienced professional in the fields of statistics, child protection, and development, currently serving as a Senior Adviser at UNICEF since November 2004. Prior to this role, Claudia held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Geneva from March 2003 to November 2004 and at the International Labour Organization (ILO) from October 2002 to June 2004. Academically, Claudia has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, which was obtained between 2003 and 2010, and a Master of Arts (MA) in the same field from the same institution, completed in 2002. Additional qualifications include various certificates in quantitative methods and statistics from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, all earned in 2013. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs with a focus on International Economics from Università degli Studi di Trieste, obtained in 1999.
