Andrea Orcel is the Group Chief Executive Officer at UniCredit, a position held since April 2021. Previously, Orcel served as President of UBS Investment Bank, CEO of UBS UK, and a member of the UBS Group Executive Board from July 2012 to October 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Chairman of Investment Bank and President of Emerging Markets ex Asia at Bank of America, and various leadership roles at Merrill Lynch from 1992 to 2009, including Head of Global Origination and President of EMEA Global Markets & Investment Banking. Early career experiences include consulting at Boston Consulting Group, and roles at Goldman and Midland Montagu in fixed income. Orcel holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, complemented by a Baccalauréat D in Maths and Physics from Lycée Chateaubriand.
