Andrea Orcel

Andrea Orcel is a seasoned executive in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer at UniCredit since April 2021. Prior to this role, Andrea held leadership positions at UBS from July 2012 to October 2018, including President of UBS Investment Bank and CEO of UBS UK. Previous experience includes significant roles at Bank of America, where Andrea was Executive Chairman of Investment Bank, and at Merrill Lynch, where Andrea led various global initiatives in investment banking and capital markets. Early career experience encompasses consultancy at the Boston Consulting Group and fixed income roles at Goldman and Midland Montagu. Andrea Orcel holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, along with a Baccalauréat D in Maths and Physics from Lycée Chateaubriand.
