Francesco started his career as an economist at MMS/Standards & Poor London.
He then moved to the Istituto Bancario San Paolo and then Credit Suisse First Boston, as senior economist.
He joined the UniCredit Group in 2000 as Head of Research, thereafter covering a number of positions, including Head of Planning, Research and Strategy and CFO and Head of Marketing and Strategy for Corporate and Investment Banking.
