Erik R. Ranschaert

Erik R. Ranschaert, MD, PhD, is a Diagnostic Radiologist currently engaged in general radiological diagnostics and innovative medical imaging projects at St. Nikolaus-Hospital Eupen since January 2022. Erik R. serves as a Senior Medical Advisor for multiple companies, including oxipit, contextflow, and Quibim, focusing on AI software development and optimization in the field of radiology. Additionally, Ranschaert is a member of the AI Centre of Excellence at Unilabs and has held the role of Chief Medical Officer for Diagnose.me and Osimis, where Erik R. promotes the implementation of AI applications in medical imaging. As a Visiting Professor at the University of Ghent, Ranschaert shares expertise in communication, management, informatics, and artificial intelligence within radiology.
