Emily Cross

Emily Cross is an experienced researcher in the field of chemistry with a strong background in microstructure and colloid science. Currently serving as Microstructure and Colloid Science Research Manager at Unilever since October 2021, Emily has previously held roles including Research Formulation Scientist at Unilever and UK Medical Research Council Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast. Emily's academic journey includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, where teaching responsibilities included lecturing in various chemistry subjects, and a research scientist position at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool and has extensive experience in materials discovery, characterization, and research mentoring.
