Harshad Patwardhan, CFA has an extensive work experience in the investment management industry. Harshad began their career as an Investment Research Analyst at Deutsche Equities India Private Limited in 2003. Harshad then joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2006, where they served as the Executive Director and Head of Equities for over ten years. In 2016, they moved to Edelweiss Asset Management and held the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Equities until 2021. From 2022 to 2023, Harshad worked as the Chief Investment Officer at Girik Capital. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Union Mutual Fund. Throughout their career, Harshad has demonstrated expertise and leadership in investment management.
Harshad Patwardhan, CFA, earned their MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned their B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, between 1986 and 1991. Additionally, they hold the CFA designation from the CFA Institute.
