Bunkong Tuon

Bunkong Tuon is an accomplished academic currently serving as a Posse Mentor at The Posse Foundation since June 2023 and as an Associate Professor of English at Union College, where tenured roles have included Director of Asian Studies and Assistant Professor of English since September 2008. Bunkong Tuon holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between September 2000 and August 2008, and a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from California State University, Long Beach, completed in June 2000. Additionally, Bunkong Tuon obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in English Language and Literature from Long Beach City College in 1996 and graduated from Malden High School in 1990.
