Erin Spence

Erin Spence is an experienced community engagement professional currently serving as the Program Coordinator of Community Engagement and Outreach at Union College since August 2023. Prior to this role, Erin worked at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York as the Food Industry Partnership Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating food and fund drive donations and building relationships with industry partners. Erin's experience also includes serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate, conducting community garden projects, and creating educational materials on medicinal plants. As a Bonner Service Leader Program Associate at Siena College, Erin developed social justice training and supported student transitions. Educational credentials include a degree from Siena University (2018 - 2022) and a high school diploma from Shenendehowa Central School District (2014 - 2018).
