Gerald Bova

Gerald Bova is a seasoned professional in fire safety and emergency management with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Fire Safety Compliance Officer at Union College since May 2021, Bova previously held positions as a Fire Safety Inspector at Living Resources and as Campus Safety & Security at Clarkson University, where responsibilities included conducting patrols, securing buildings, and preparing investigative reports. Bova also worked as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with fire codes and responded to campus emergencies. Earlier experience includes serving as Fire Captain and E.M.T. in Ogdensburg Fire, a 9-1-1 Dispatcher for St. Lawrence County, and a Release & Classification Analyst at Tower Group International. Bova holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Canton.
