Katherine Desieno

Katherine DeSieno is a seasoned admissions professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions and Coordinator of Admissions Communications at Union College since August 2014, Katherine manages recruitment territories, reviews first-year applications, and advises students and families on admissions policies. Previously, Katherine held various roles at The College of New Jersey, including Associate Dean of Admissions and Assistant Director of Admissions, where responsibilities encompassed developing transfer student enrollment plans, overseeing admissions processes, and managing communication efforts. Katherine's career began in the admissions office at the University of Delaware, where foundational skills in customer service and administrative support were developed. An alumna of the University of Delaware, Katherine holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature.
