Laini Nemett

Laini Nemett is an accomplished artist and Associate Professor of Drawing & Painting at Union College since 2015. With a career spanning over two decades, Laini has received notable recognition, including the 2017 National Endowment for the Arts Art Works Grant. Laini's artistic contributions have been showcased in various solo exhibitions and group exhibitions, with significant residencies at prestigious institutions such as Yaddo and the Joan Mitchell Center. Laini's educational background includes an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a BA with honors from Brown University, complemented by extensive experience as an adjunct instructor and visiting artist at multiple universities.
