Mary Carroll

Mary Carroll has extensive experience in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Dwane W. Crichton Professor of Chemistry and Chair of the Chemistry Department at Union College since September 1992. In addition to teaching, Mary is the Director of Undergraduate Research and has held various professorial roles at the institution. Since October 2013, Mary has also been the Chief Science Officer at Sunthru LLC. Prior academic experience includes a Research Assistant Professorship at the University at Buffalo from 1997 to 2000 and a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1991 to 1992. Mary Carroll earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Union College.
