Ian Ross has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Ian started their career in 1998 as a Project Engineer at Archer Daniels Midland and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2011, they were the Director of Manufacturing at Hiram Walker & Sons Limited. Ian then joined Union Gas in 2011 and held various roles including District Manager - Northwest, District Manager - London / Sarnia, and Director of Distribution Operations. In 2018, they joined Enbridge Gas as the Director of Eastern Operations and later became the Director of Safety at Enbridge in 2020.
Ian Ross obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor, which they pursued from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Lakehead University from 1994 to 1998.

The Company owns and operates natural gas distribution, storage and transmission facilities in Ontario. The Company distributes natural gas to customers in northern, southwestern and eastern Ontario, and provides natural gas storage and transportation services for other utilities and energy market participants. The property, plant and equipment of the Company consist primarily of pipeline, storage and compression facilities used in the distribution, storage and transportation of natural gas. The distribution business serves approximately 1.4 million residential, commercial and industrial customers in over 400 communities across northern, southwestern and eastern Ontario. Union Gas' storage and transmission business offers a range of storage and transportation services to customers at the Dawn Hub (Dawn).
