Andrea Savage is currently the Campaign Manager at the Union of Concerned Scientists, a position held since October 2021. In addition, Savage has been an Independent Consultant for Social and Environmental Innovation since October 2008 and serves as an Advisor for Salvemos al Río Laja since 2012. Notably, Savage was the Chair of the Outreach Committee at Dorchester Food Co-op from September 2017 to January 2018, focusing on increasing member-owner participation. Prior experience includes serving as CarbonPlus Senior Manager at EcoLogic Development Fund, where the role involved supporting community partners in Mexico and Central America in carbon reduction efforts. Savage also participated as a Fellow at the Kinship Conservation Fellows program in July 2013 and worked with the Clinton Foundation as the National Coordinator for REDD projects in Papua New Guinea in 2009. Educational credentials comprise a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University.
