Jarasa Kanok is the Chief of Strategic Planning Assessment and Learning for the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she leads UCS efforts to strengthen organizational capabilities in measuring impact and advancing racial equity and to optimize structures, systems, processes, and internal communications. Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Kanok was a senior manager and adaptive strategy lead at Monitor Institute by Deloitte. She has worked with foundations and nonprofits to elevate, champion, and advance their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, leading projects that sparked cultural and organization growth.
Ms. Kanok earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in English and premedical studies from Harvard University. She currently serves on the Board of ITPC (International Treatment Preparedness Coalition), a global network of activists advocating for HIV treatment access.
